We have some of the best recipes for mouth watering dishes. Now the question is whether you could be a good cook just like your grandma. Here is the answer. Just follow one of the recipes below in one of the cast iron cookware we have and.....

Chicken & Stuffing Bake

Ingredients:

10 oz. can cooked chicken 10 3/4 oz. can cream of celery soup
10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup
10 3/4 oz. can chicken broth
1 cup chopped celery
6 oz. box instant stuffing
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

Place chicken in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with stuffing. In bowl, mix chicken soup, celery soup, broth, celery and seasoning packet from stuffing mix. Pour evenly over chicken. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 more minutes.

Chicken 'N Dumplings (Chicken Pot Pie)

Ingredients:

Noodles
3 cups flour
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. shortening
Approx. 1 c. milk

Instructions:

Mix flour, egg, salt & shortening well. Gradually add milk until moistened. Roll out on floured surface until thin. Cut into squares or small circles.

Cook boneless skinless chicken in broth until tender. Drop noodles into boiling broth. Cook until done (approx. 10-15 minutes - done when not doughy).

Crockpot Pizza

Ingredients:

1 lb. rigatoni noodles
1 pt. pizza sauce
1/2 lb. pepperoni
2 cups mozzarella cheese
Mushrooms as required
1 lb. ground beef or sausage
Onions as required

Instructions:

Cook noodles. Drain, put in crock pot. Next add pizza sauce. Layer in this order, pepperoni, cheese, mushrooms, ground beef/sausage, onions. Simmer on low for 5 hours. Stir occasionally. If dry, add more sauce.

Golden Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients:

1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. water - do not use milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients together. Dip bite size boneless skinless chicken into batter. Deep fry to golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Place in oven on cookie sheet to keep warm.

Moist Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. salt, optional
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 c. finely shredded cheddar cheese
2 Tbs. grated parmesan cheese
Dash pepper
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves

Instructions:

In shallow bowl, combine butter, garlic, garlic powder and salt. In another bowl, combine bread crumbs, cheeses and pepper. Dip chicken in butter mixture,then coat with crumb mixture. Please in 9 x 13 baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray. Cover and bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until juice runs clear.

One-Step Lasagna

Ingredients:

1 1/2 c. water
32 oz. spaghetti sauce
16 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
15 oz. ricotta cheese
8 oz. mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

Combine water with sauce in large bowl. Cover bottom of 9 x 13 pan with 1 1/2 cups sauce. Arrange a layer of noodles, slightly overlapping on top of sauce. Spread half of mozzarella cheese and 2 Tbs. parmesan cheese. Add another layer of sauce. Repeat with layer of noodles. Pour remaining sauce over noodles. Sprinkle with 1/4 c. parmesan cheese. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Let sit 10 minutes.

You can also add cooked ground beef or sausage. May be prepared ahead and placed in refrigerator - allow to bake approx. 1/2 hour longer.

Pasta with Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

1 lb. uncooked fettuccine
1 1/2 Tbs. melted butter
3 garlic cloves, pressed
1 1/2 Tbs. flour
2 cups milk
3 Tbs. cream cheese
1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
2 Tbs. parsley

Instructions:

Cook pasta to desired tenderness. Drain and keep warm. Melt butter over low heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 30 seconds. Blend in flour; cook and stir 1 minute. Whisk in milk and cook, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil and thickens. Remove from heat; stir in cheeses and parsley. Toss with fettuccine.

Sweet & Sour Chicken

Ingredients:

3 Tbs. margarine
2 Tbs. water
1 c. baking mix
1 egg
1 1/2 lb. chicken, cubed
4 c. hot rice
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
3 Tbs. cornstarch
20 oz. can pineapple chunks (drained, but reserve juice)
1 green pepper, cut into 1" pieces
3 Tbs. vinegar
2 Tbs. catsup
2 Tbs. soy sauce
1 small onion, diced

Instructions:

Heat oven to 400. Heat margarine in 13 x 9 pan until melted. Beat egg and water slightly. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then coat with baking mix. Arrange in pan. Bake uncovered 35 minutes. Turn, bake 15 minutes longer. While baking, prepare sauce. Mix brown sugar & cornstarch in skillet. Add water to pineapple juice to measure 2 1/4 c. Stir syrup mixture, vinegar, catsup & soy sauce into skillet.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Stir in pineapple, green pepper & onion. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in chicken and heat thoroughly. Serve over rice.
